“It is exciting to see how the audience for our products evolves with them. Influencers are an incredibly important part of any community nowadays, and when it comes to photography and image editing, they are usually somewhere in between newbies and professionals. That means their requirements for software vary significantly from both groups’ expectations, and they mostly look for convenience, simplicity, speed, and high quality,” says Eugene Ustinenkov, CEO of SoftOrbits with more than 10 years of software development expertise.
SoftOrbits’ utilities are all about these qualities, which gives them an edge over highly technical professional software that might offer dozens of various functionalities but requires spending hours learning how to use it in return. The team is convinced that its initial business strategy, created back in 2006 to address strong competition in the niche, bears fruit to this day, helping SoftOrbits stay unique in the eyes of potential users.

“We’ve seen a significant increase in downloads after the AI implementation, and a huge percentage of people who downloaded our utilities stated that they plan to use them for content creation. As soon as AI appeared on the horizon, we knew it would inevitably become the center of attention and one of the most important tools in content creators’ arsenals, so we focused on making our AI features as consistent and reliable as possible — something that most similar products on the market lack,” says Eugene Ustinenkov, CEO of SoftOrbits and AlarmFront.
As the team has captured the attention of influencers, it plans to capitalize on that by making its tools even more accessible and convenient. The next big step for SoftOrbits is switching the distribution model to SaaS, removing hardware requirements and enabling online access to tools at all times.
“Right now this feature is only available to our corporate clients, but we see how useful it would be to content makers, so we are committed to transforming our business model to adjust to that.
